Rino Valido

Rino Valido was born in Varazze (SV - Italy) in 1947. In 1967 he moves to Genoa where he starts working as a colour technician for graphic reproductions, this activity is the decomposition of the density of the colour grey for the following offset colour printing. Graphic, photography, advertising communication express his interest for colours and shapes, passion that he wants to analyse through painting as well; it is in 1970 that he presents his works about the Ligurian landscape to the Poleschi Arte Gallery. In the 80s beside his artistic activity he also collaborates with important Italian companies, banks and public offices. From 1987 to 1996 he travels in several countries around the world for his job: Russia, China, India, Indonesia, Argentina, Brazil, United States, Canada, etc… these travels are a deliberate and conscious choice to interrupt his exhibitions for an intense analysis of his artistic search.
